How will my pies be delivered?
Your pies will be delivered via a reliable courier. You will receive an email notification when your pies are on the way. If you live local our delivery driver will deliver the pies to you instead of a courier. For up to 7-mile radius it is FREE, but a small charge of £2.50 between 7-10 mile. You also have the option to collect from our bakery.
How quickly and what is the cost?
We aim to dispatch you order within 72 working hours after you have placed your order. Your pies are baked to order, and adequate cooling time must be given before packing. The delivery cost is £4.99.
Can you deliver to all postcodes?
Your pies need to be kept cool, so we use temperature-controlled packaging and aim to deliver your pies within 1-2 days from dispatch. Unfortunately, our couriers are unable to deliver to some locations within this timeframe. These areas include:
What if I am not in for delivery?
Delivery instructions can be given at checkout, here you can advise for a safe place or neighbour, where your parcel will be safe if you are not home. As a general rule they will try to leave the parcel somewhere safe, as they cannot redeliver.
What's is the shelf life and storage informations
You can enjoy your pies for up to 10 days from baking. As soon as you receive your parcel place the pie in your fridge and keep chilled.
Can my pies be frozen?
Yes, pop them in a plastic bag, include date and description, then place them in the freezer (ideally as fresh as possible). They are good for up to 6 months. When you are ready to enjoy them, take them out and let them defrost in the plastic bag. This helps prevent soggy pastry.
How do you make my pies?
Your pies are made mostly by hand with a few bits of machinery to help speed up the process. Every pie looks different and unique as all our pie makers have different lidding techniques. They are frozen unbaked to hold their shape. We only bake-off pies that are ordered, so there is no waste and pies are fresh for our customers. Once baked and filled with jelly, they are cooled and packed ready for dispatch.
